There are defects in the operation of the vacuum belt dehydrator, insufficient suction capacity of the vacuum pump, and inadequate adjustment and maintenance of the vacuum belt dehydrator. The gypsum slurry flows into the vacuum belt dehydrator through the underflow of the cyclone, and then the water is separated by the vacuum pump to form gypsum. During this process, if the vacuum system leaks, the filter cloth will be blocked, and if the vacuum pump output does not meet the requirements, the attached gypsum water will be affected.

The following measures can solve these problems:

  • Rinse filter cloth

The vacuum belt conveyor is essential equipment for gypsum dehydration, and the dehydration effect is closely related to the properties of the slurry and the cleanliness of the filter cloth. Therefore, the normal flushing of the filter cloth should be strictly controlled to ensure the normal water permeability of the filter cloth at any time.

  • Control the vacuum degree of the belt conveyor

The vacuum change when the belt conveyor is running directly reflects the effect of gypsum dehydration. Especially when the vacuum exceeds -50 000 Pa, the cause of the vacuum rise should be checked and adjusted in time, and sampling and analysis of the quality of the gypsum should be carried out at the same time.
